Compounding Pharmacy Services

In an effort to customize our services to our patients’ needs, Recombi offers specialty infusion pharmacy services to its patients. This means we are able to customize medications to fit our patients’ needs. From changing the flavor or taking out specific ingredients such as a particular preservative or dye to changing the fundamental form of the drug to make it more tolerable, we have the ability to build the right medication for you. We were the first to offer flavor Amicar to make the taste more enjoyable for our younger consumers.

Billing & Reimbursement

At Recombi we have an experienced team, dedicated to providing all of you reimbursement needs. We will work directly with your insurance company to verify benefits and eligibility and obtain prior authorization to ensure timeliness of delivery.

Our team of Recombi Patient Advocates live with bleeding disorders as well and are familiar with the hurdles that you and your family may be dealing with. Our job is to help you learn how to deal with the everyday life issues that are common as a person or family member living with a bleeding disorder. Nursing Services (on-site/at home)

For newly diagnosed patients, and especially for parents of newly diagnosed children, understanding how to administer regular medications appropriately can be complex. Our on-site and in-home nursing staff can come to your home and help train you how to correctly administer hemophilia medications.

24/7 Availability

Recombi’s hemophilia homecare stretches beyond the typical 8-5 work hours of most companies. Recombi offers on-call emergency service for nights and weekends. It is not unusual for a fall out of bed to result in the need for an emergency room visit. Recombi can be there for you, helping with any variety of needs from transportation arrangements to language translation needs.
